‘Took the easy way out’ – Man City fans fuming as £4.5m-rated attacker comments on transfer

Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to comments made by their former youth player, Jadon Sancho. 17-year-old Sancho left Manchester for Germany when he signed for Borussia Dortmund back in summer 2017. A story in the Sunday Times has revealed comments made by Sancho as to why he swapped the Premier League for the Bundesliga, claiming that at Dortmund, it doesn’t matter how old you are, if you’re good enough then you’ll play.

Sancho, who won the U17 World Cup with England last year, has made six Bundesliga appearances with Dortmund this season, including a man of the match performance away Hertha Berlin back in January.
