There is more than a little bit of drama here in the Football Transfer Tavern as the The Sun claim that Nani could well be on his way out of Manchester United with Monaco, Galatasaray and Napoli interested in acquiring his services.
The winger has never really lived up to the expectation placed on his head during his time at the club and despite being dubbed the next Cristiano Ronaldo, he is not even half the player his Portuguese international compatriot is. Now it seems that incoming manager David Moyes is willing to sit down with the player over the next week and plan talks about where Nani sees his future and just how he may still fit in to Moyes’ plans.
Should Nani chose to leave the club he will demand a massive salary but given the amount of mega rich clubs now in the game, all of whom would love his services, the player himself knows that would not really be an issue. Speaking after Portugal’s recent victory against Russia, he noted: “I have not yet decided where I am going or if I am going.
“I do not want to speak about rumours but I will decide my future in the next few days.”
