Metro have claimed that Javier Hernandez is top of the list to replace the injured Ramadel Falcao at Ligue 1 side Monaco.
This news has left the punters in the Football Transfer Tavern looking up keenly with interest.
The injury to Falcao has caused major problems for the mega-rich side, who were looking to push Paris Saint-Germain all the way when it comes to the title in France and now they are reeling after losing their main source of goals.
Javier Hernandez is one of the players we thought could well be on his way out of Old Trafford and over pouring a pint, our landlord notes that he would be a very good buy for the Ligue 1 side.
It would also be a huge move for Hernandez, who is looking to get out of Old Trafford while craving a club where the manager trusts him and where he can play week in, week out.
Monaco boss Claudio Ranieri is also considering Dani Osvaldo who looks to be on his way out of Southampton after a massive training ground bust up.
There is no doubting that Osvaldo is a top quality player but the fact remains that he is considered a little bit too troublesome for life on the south coast.
Could Hernandez be set for a last gasp move to Monaco this Janaury? Let us know your thoughts below.
