Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern could soon be celebrating the arrival of a new player, according to reports from Mail Online.
They’re currently waiting for their club to finalise a deal for Southampton’s Luke Shaw but Mail Online claim that he could be joined by a Bundesliga household name soon.
According to reports Louis van Gaal has agreed a £20 million deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos.
The reports suggest though that the deal was originally the making of David Moyes and his sacking created a stumbling block but apparently the move is now back on and moving quickly.
Bayern Munich have only agreed to sell the midfielder because he is running out of contract and they fear losing him for free next summer.
A deal is done in principle for the 24-year-old and he’s likely to follow Luke Shaw to Old Trafford in what could be a very busy period for the club.
It’s rumoured that van Gaal has been given a whopping £200 million to spend during the window as the club look to restore the good times.
