Manchester United fans are eagerly looking to the bar and our landlord who is reporting the latest gossip from Metro and we do not blame them.
The Reds Devils have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Roma’s £25 million-rated midfielder Kevin Strootman who has of course been out with injury for the majority of the summer and even missed the World Cup due to his knee issues.
This leads one of our punters to sarcastically quip that he would certainly be a good addition to the United squad at the minute!
After being heavily linked with the Dutchman in the summer, it seems that a conversation with United manager Louis van Gaal has done the trick and convinced Strootman that his future lies at Old Trafford.
However as our landlord cautions, before our punters start getting too excited, they need to remember that it will not happen this January.
The Red Devils will instead have to wait until the summer to land their man but it could well be worth the wait!
Manchester United fans. Is signing a player with such a wretched injury record like Strootman too much of a risk? Let us know your thoughts below.
