Manchester United and Chelsea target ‘unhappy’ with playing time

MarquinhosManchester United and Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been merrily dancing about the tables after hearing news that Brazilian defender Marquinhos is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain.

The news comes from the Daily Express’ David Wright, who cites L’Equipe as the source of the rumour that has punters in the Tavern licking their lips. Per the reports, Marquinhos is unhappy at the lack of playing time as he plays second-fiddle to Thiago Silva and David Luiz.

You’ll remember that Chelsea supposedly had two late-bids for Marquinhos rejected by the French side late in the transfer window, as they seemed alternatives after seeing Everton stamp on their advances for John Stones.

Compatriot Alex, himself a former PSG and Chelsea player, urged the young defender to leave the French capital to fulfil his full talent.

We’re having to break up scuffles at the bar between rival supporters as they argue which Premier League side would be a better fit for the talented South American- a debate that’s difficult to answer.

Chelsea and United fans, which side needs Marquinhos more? Let us know in the comments below.
