Premier League fans are on red alert here in the Football Transfer Tavern this evening.
This is because former Newcastle United turned Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cababye has made it very clear just how unhappy he is with life in Ligue 1 according to the Daily Express.
As our regulars note, Cabaye is certainly one of the more talented midfield stars around but after leaving Newcastle, he has found life in France under Laurent Blanc a little less earth shattering than originally planned.
Now, it is believed the French international would have no issues in making a move back to the UK or somewhere else should his chances not come.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are believed to be keen on the Frenchman and will be very interested to hear his latest quotes.
The creative former Lille star noted: “This doesn’t suit me. I’ve not spoken to [Laurent] Blanc about my situation.
“I am 28-years-old and not just starting out. I won’t change my style now. The coach’s choices must be respected, but I won’t quit.
“I have the character and my goal is to show what I can do on pitch. I know I must play very well in order to keep my place in team.”
Manchester United fans. Another central midfielder is certainly required at Old Trafford. Why not forget about Arturo Vidal altogether and move for Cabaye? Let us know your thoughts below.
