Manchester United attacker heads for the exit door

BebeI’ve just started my shift at the Football Transfer Tavern and I have been greeted by a tavern full of laughter and it is all because of some transfer news that The Sun journalists, who are having a staff party here, have just told the punters.

I manage to get a few words out of a rather drunk Hull City Tigers fan (we’d all turn to drink if our club was renamed after an animal!) but I work out that the laughter is because Manchester United player Bebe is actually wanted by another club.

The Sun staff have told the punters that Portuguese outfit Pacos de Ferreira want to take the former Vitoria de Guimaraes player off the Red Devils’ hands (One United fan even offered to drive Bebe to Portugal!)

Bebe joined United for £7 million in 2010 and became something of a laughing stock after several performances showed he wasn’t up to Premier League standard. Furthermore, Sir Alex Ferguson admitted he signed the, then, 20-year-old without actually having seen him kick a ball.

It has been a rather frustrating transfer window so far for David Moyes and he even admitted that United may not even make any further signings but getting Bebe out of Old Trafford would surely class as a successful window, right?

Manchester United fans. Where does Bebe rank on the all-time list of Old Trafford flops? Let us know your thoughts below.
