That is because according to talkSPORT, the Red Devils have been given a major boost after Juan Cuadrado’s talks with Fiorentina reportedly broke down.
The Colombian midfielder was a linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer long after an impressive World Cup campaign.
Fiorentina opened talks to reward the Viola midfielder just last week after no club matched their £32 million summer asking price for the midfielder.
However, reports in Italy are suggesting that those talks have stalled despite the fact his contract expires at the end of the season.
Cuadrado reportedly wants a buy-out clause in his contract to be lowered to ensure that he is not priced out of a future move.
The developments mean that the Stadio Artemi Franchi club could be forced to sell the 26-year-old on the cheap in January or risk him leaving for free next summer.
This is unless both parties can agree on a compromise but the Colombian international midfielder could soon be on his way out of Serie A.
