Here in the Football Transfer Tavern the Daily Mail has been the one paper we have been turning to all day.
Their final claim makes us even keener to hear what they have to say.
The publication claims that Manchester United are planning a shake up of no less than eight players, with three stalwarts heading towards the exit door.
Not only is the future of Nemanja Vidic under threat, but also the futures of both Rio Ferdinand and also Patrice Evra.
The long serving Red Devils stars are thought to be part of a shake up planned by David Moyes, who is looking ahead to the future and set to get rid of what he deems deadwood in order to do so.
Vidic has of course suffered two serious injuries in the last three years and is not exactly getting any younger.
Ferdinand may have prolonged his club career by giving up his international one, but is still looking shaky at times and is fully aware that should he decide to retire this season, a job as a pundit with BT Sport could well be waiting for him.
Evra meanwhile has been heavily linked to Monaco and one final pay day should the likes of Leighton Baines come into the club and this would have firmly played on his mind.
Other players thought to be under threat are Nani, Javier Hernandez, Ashley Young and of course Anderson.
Will United get rid of their long-time heroes? Let us know your thoughts below.
