It’s been a tough start to life as Manchester United manager for David Moyes, both on and off the field.
The former Everton boss has come under fire for his lack of business in the transfer market during the summer, as well as picking up 4 points in his opening three games, which have included two consecutive matches without a goal and a defeat to rivals Liverpool. However, he did manage his first home victory at Old Trafford today, courtesy of a rather bumbling 2-0 victory over 10-man Crystal Palace.
Perhaps Moyes could do with getting his hands on the official Manchester United games console controller in order to turn things around.
This gadget proved to be a big help for Sir Alex Ferguson during his tenure at Old Trafford, with the ‘Adjust Injury Time’ and ‘Activate FA Mode’ and ‘Order Referee’ buttons proving to be his firm favourites.
The worry for Moyes is that it may have been discontinued following the Scot’s retirement at the end of last season, with few other managers capable of using one to such effect.
Moyes has been desperately searching eBay ever since, but it’s been the same old story has he is yet to have launched a successful bid.
