Manchester United fans are looking rather excited here in the Football Transfer Tavern courtesy of news that has arrived from Daily Mail.
The publication have claimed that David Moyes has been to the Portugal cup semi-final between Porto and Benfica, and watched three of his top summer targets.
As one of our punters notes, it is a good slice of fortune for the beleaguered manager that he could watch Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala and Jackson Martinez (pictured) and Benfica’s Guilherme Siqueira all in one go, and he will not have been disappointed.
The Red Devils manager has a huge summer war chest to spend and as our landlord notes over by the dartboard, it has been reported to be as much as £200 million in some quarters, meaning a whole set of new players will be coming into the club.
There have also been as many as ten players reported to be leaving the club, and Moyes will have his work cut out when replacing the stars.
Even to land Mangala alone, he will have to spend close to £40 million and also manage to fight off the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
Manchester United fans. If Moyes was to sign one of these three players, which one do the Red Devils need the most? Let us know your thoughts below.
