Manchester United can win the Champions League by playing this front three regularly

Manchester United have made a superb start to the season this year as goals have flowed and their defence has looked solid under Jose Mourinho.

Their summer signings appear to have bedded in well while prior to injury, Paul Pogba appeared to have gone up a level in terms of his performance and looks every bit the world class midfielder.

Our landlord here in the Tavern has been nothing but impressed with the United team this year already, and he fully expects them to challenge for domestic glory come May. However, challenging to the win the Champions League is a different kettle of fish, and he thinks the club need to operate with a specific front three to conquer Europe.

The trio Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial is not something we have seen as yet, with Martial often replacing Rashford or vice-versa.

That combination though on paper is a mouth watering one. Few teams around Europe can offer a frontline with such pace and power in it, and pace is always something which frightens defenders at every level.

Lukaku is dominating already as many expected he would, while Rashford is turning into one of the finest young players on the planet. Martial too is also coming on with his game, and has already hit the back of the net regularly this term when given the chance.

It all bodes well for the Red Devils if they can get them on the field at the same time, and a potential strikeforce of those three players can lead United to glory this year.
