Manchester United are closing in on a move for young Romanian starlet Dorin Rotariu according to Metro.
The publication claim that Red Devils manager David Moyes is unconvinced with his current choices on the flanks and has eyed the young Dinamo Bucharest star as a potential replacement.
Currently, the club have the likes of Nani and Ashley Young on their wings, neither of whom have impressed this term and both of these players could well be leaving Old Trafford in the near future.
As one of our punters notes, Young has been hotly tipped to move back to his former club Aston Villa in the winter with Wilfried Zaha also set to head out on loan.
This would still leave Moyes with a fair few players but our landlord is at pains to admit that the inconsistency of the likes of Antonio Valencia means that some new blood may not be a bad thing. At least it would shake things up at the struggling club.
Rotariu is only a tender 18-years-old and has already managed to score six times this season and Moyes is keen to bring him to the club.
It is not only the talent shown by the young star that has attracted Moyes; it is also the fact that he would provide a welcome relief for Adnan Januzaj who has spent most of his season on the wing and according to his manager needs some protection.
