The Sunday People claim the Red Devils are prepared to listen to an offer for defender Marcos Rojo from Russian side Zenit St Petersburg, which has led to a few loud voices in the bar who are unhappy that the defender may leave.
Rojo has been in hot-water with Louis Van Gaal ever since missing the club’s pre-season tour of North America due to a passport issue but our regulars believe he deserves another chance, especially with Luke Shaw sidelined with a long-term injury.
Zenit, managed by former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas, are looking to bring the Argentinian back to the Russian League after the defender previously spent 18-months with Spartak Moscow.
One lad by the jukebox reckons United would be mad to let Rojo go as he is a natural defender and a much better option to Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young, who have been played out of position by Van Gaal regularly.
United fans, should Rojo be allowed to leave in January? Let us know below in the comments!
