Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup.

The Red Devils, however, could be without two key players for the clash between the two Premier League heavyweights, making the tie look like an even more difficult one on paper.

The Breakdown

The Telegraph reports that Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are serious doubts for the game which will come as a huge blow to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Manchester United duo have been in excellent form since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in the Old Trafford dugout, leaving the Norwegian in a tricky predicament should neither of the two be available for the Monday night clash.

For as good as Martial and Lingard have been, though, their absences will hardly be the end of the world for Manchester United given how terrible their opponents are.

There is nothing else that needs to be said about how shambolic Chelsea were in their humiliating 6-0 defeat to Manchester City, while even before that they looked extremely vulnerable in transition and on the counter.

If Solskjaer can set up his side to be a counter-attacking threat, which will be a tad more difficult task with someone who possesses Martial's pace missing, then there is no reason why the Red Devils cannot progress to the quarter-finals of the competition and pile more misery on Maurizio Sarri.
