Manchester United's mini resurgence carried on this weekend as they defeated a previously unbeaten Watford at Vicarage Road.

Jose Mourinho's men were good enough value for the win and showed glimpses of really coming back into form at times, something which will no doubt delight the Portuguese coach and plenty of the Old Trafford faithful.

While summer signings such as Fred and Diogo Dalot continue to find their feet and questions are already being raised about who the club might sign come January, one man who is into his second season with the club appears to be improving game on game and is vital to United's chances.

That man? Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

The big forward was superb at Watford this weekend and was rewarded with a goal for the away side following up on his excellent performance for United before the international break in the win at Burnley.

Indeed, if United are to keep going well, then Lukaku finding the net is going to be crucial, and he might well just be the man to guide the Red Devils to success this term and prevent the club going out and making any rash buys come the winter window.

Put simply, Lukaku is turning into the player everyone always believed he would become. Powerful, quick, and improving his finishing season on season, Lukaku simply has to be United's main man throughout the entire campaign.

United fans, what do you think? Is Lukaku key to any success? Let us know in the comments!
