Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern begin to fear the worst after the Daily Mail revealed they were eyeing a move for Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
The summer transfer window gets closer and closer meaning United fans are hearing more rumours surrounding their number one, David De Gea.
The Spanish international is heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and it is believed the Red Devils have one eye on a replacement.
And it is no shock that Louis van Gaal is looking at Handanovic, with the experienced keeper only having one year left on his contract.
The 30-year-old is currently negotiating with Inter over a new deal but as things stand the Italian giants could opt to cash in on him.
Madrid are also interested in the keeper because if they miss out on De Gea as a last resort they will make a move for the Slovenia international.
