Manchester United: Fans decide to take a stand against the Glazer ownership - Manchester United

Manchester United fans are standing in unison after the Old Trafford faithful decided to take a stand against the Glazer family’s ownership of the club.

Football Writers' Association: Opening the Door to BAME Journalists

The supporters of the club decided to take a stand against the owners, writing an open letter (reported by the Independent) in a way similar to what Arsenal fans did with their ‘We care do you’ campaign.

The grievances over the ownership of the Americans is over the level of debt the club is in as well as the reported £1bn taken out of the club since the takeover 14 years ago.

The Glazers took over Manchester United in May of 2005 and oversaw the end of Sir Alex Ferguson’s long and successful reign of the club.

Fans took to Twitter to support the campaign amid the ill feelings surrounding the Glazer’s ownership of the club.
