Manchester United: Fans drool over Anthony Martial’s goal versus Partizan Belgrade

Manchester United fans have been drooling over Anthony Martial’s goal of individual brilliance in their Europa League game against Partizan Belgrade.

The France international skipped past tackles from three Partizan defenders before slotting the ball under the goalkeeper into the back of the net (via BT Sport).

Martial’s goal is one of three from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men as they eased to a 3-0 victory over their Group L rivals, extending their gap over the Serbian side to six points with two group games to go.

Martial only just returned from a long hamstring injury in the game against Liverpool, after sustaining it in the loss to Crystal Palace back in August (via Transfermarkt).

His impact upon his return has been immediate, with the 23-year-old contributing three goals in just six games across all competitions.

His goal comes just over a year after Sam Allardyce labelled him ‘not good enough’ for the north-west club (beIN Sports via The Express).
