Manchester United fans are far from happy after reports that the club’s sponsors Adidas will release a ‘legacy green’ colour for the away kit (via Footy Headlines) next season.
A return to green for the away kit will see the club return to the historic original colours of Manchester United used by the club way back in the late 1800s.
The Old Trafford giants currently have three kits this season, with the home kit being red, and the away and third kits being beige and black respectively.
The Red Devils have had an out of sorts start to their Premier League season following much optimism after their 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side drew at Wolves, before suffering a shock loss at home to Crystal Palace.
Fans weren’t pleased with the return to the original colours of the club and took to Twitter to tweet their disgust.
