According to Squawka, Pereira created more chances (3) and recovered the ball more times than any other player on the pitch.
The £13.5m-rated man has enjoyed a far better season, in terms of consistent appearances, for United this term. The Brazil international has started seven of the nine Premier League games so far this campaign, also making a substitute appearance in one (WhoScored).
His performance was hailed by former Old Trafford midfielder Darren Fletcher, who said he believed Pereira was the unsung hero of yesterday’s draw (BBC via Manchester Evening News).
The draw against Jurgen Klopp’s men saw the club’s winless run in the league extend, with the last win coming at home to Leicester City back in September.
Fans took to Twitter to laud the performance of Pereira after yesterday’s 1-1 draw against table-toppers Liverpool.
