Manchester United fans on Twitter want more than supposed £200 million spend

Manchester United fans on Twitter want more than supposed £200 million spend - Manchester United

There are no secrets that Manchester United as a football club are a shambles. Old Trafford used to be the Theatre of Dreams but it’s looking like it could do with some serious metaphorical renovations. The stadium is fine, but the squad is not, and the fans still aren’t happy despite The Standard’s rumours of a £200 million summer spend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen what his squad can do when they’re all happy and playing well in perfect harmony, but then he’s also seen what can happen when they play normally. The Norwegian won 14 of his first 19 games, but then after he got the United job on a permanent three-year deal it all fell apart. Six defeats from his last eight, with unconvincing wins against Watford and West Ham in between, have been far from what was expected of him.

The squad, though, is what has been labelled as the problem and the fans are calling for a mass exodus of players. Whether or not Solskjaer is qualified to do that this summer we will find out shortly, but it’s something that has to happen. However, only the stroppy and demanding supporters of Manchester United can turn their noses up at £200 million, and they’re having a fit that it’s not enough, even if 99% of football clubs would die for that sort of transfer kitty.

You can read the Red Devils’ whining about their transfer budget here:

The Red Devils will be in for a shock if they aren’t given what they want, and it won’t be long before they turn on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer if things don’t get sorted quickly.
