Manchester United: Fans optimistic over Liverpool clash after comments made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United fans are optimistic over their clash with table-toppers Liverpool after some comments made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian said that the players know the importance of the game against Jurgen Klopp’s men and also challenged his players to ‘get in the history books’ by scoring (via Twitter).

When it comes to goalscoring, United has flattered to deceive since their 4-0 thumping of Chelsea. The club has not scored more than one goal in their last 10 games across all competitions (via WhoScored).

That run has seen the club win just two games, both coming at home to Leicester City and Astana.

In stark contrast, Liverpool are in red-hot form and have scored 22 goals in their last 10 games across all competitions.

Despite the differences in form, fans believe they can get a result against their fierce rivals as they took to Twitter to react.
