Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been suffering with an ankle injury all season.
Is this the worst Manchester United team in the Premier League era?
The Frenchman initially sustained the knock during United’s 1-1 draw with Southampton at the end of August, and he subsequently missed the club’s proceeding two league games against Leicester and West Ham because of it.
The 26-year-old has now missed a total of six matches in all competitions for the Red Devils, with his absence this evening against Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League taking that total to seven games on the sidelines.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also now confirmed that the midfielder will also be unavailable for selection against Norwich in the Premier League on Sunday as he continues to recover (via Daily Mirror).
Here’s how some very frustrated United fans reacted to that news on Twitter:
Will be fit when January Transfer window opens😒

I think it’s more than injury now….something is going on behind the scenes

We’ve basically already gone half of season without him.
