Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to express their desire to see Daniel James start ahead of Marcus Rashford against Leicester City this weekend.

Despite just the one goal separating the two statistically, Rashford and James, both 21, have had two very contrasting starts to the new Premier League campaign both on the pitch and in the minds of the United faithful.
Academy graduate Marcus Rashford has not scored, nor looked like doing so, since his double against Chelsea on the opening weekend, and the Mancunian has since registered a 4/10 in the defeat to Crystal Palace (as per M.E.N) and a dismal 2/10 against Southampton a week later.
In these two games where Rashford’s form has decreased, James has smashed in two sublime goals for his new side and fans have since demanded that the Welshman starts ahead of the no.10.
Heading into the match, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be without Anthony Martial once again, according to the Daily Express, with the Frenchman absent from the recent draw with Southampton due to injury. Furthermore, dropping Rashford could be risky considering there are not too many attacking alternatives following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, both now at Inter Milan, in the summer.
Despite that, though, United fans still believe it’s definitely time for their local lad to sit out…
It’s not even an argument.

Why is this an argument, water is wet is not an argument, is it?

On form it’s not even a debate

Yep, Rashford has done nothing to warrant a place in the side 💩

Of course he should, he’s far more productive.

Rashford offers nothing. He’s a bluffer hiding behind the “local lad” badge

Absolutely that should happen! Rashford seems to have hit his ceiling I hope that's not the truth though but James has looked fantastic for the most part.
