The Mirror have revealed to Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern that their on loan striker, Radamel Falcao, has only four months to prove himself to the club in order for them to buy him from Monaco.
Louis van Gaal will have to pay £44m to bring him in on a permanent basis in April but with his Manchester United career having been riddled with injuries, his parent club, Monaco have their doubts over the Red Devils buying him, so they are hunting for another buyer.
His injuries have limited him to only five starts for United, with him only scoring one goal, but he is now back fit and he made the bench for their win against Hull, where he came on as a sub for 20 minutes.
Although he has had a proven track record in the past, he has yet to show that form at Old Trafford and if his form and fitness doesn’t improve, punters are almost certain van Gaal will not buy him.
A source from the club has come out and said that his stop-start stint at the club has become a real concern.
