Manchester United given go ahead to complete £70m deal for Serie A star?

Pogba.jpgManchester United fans here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are full of optimism after seeing an article from Metro – which claims Juventus ace Paul Pogba can leave the Serie A club in the summer if the transfer fee is right.

The regulars here in the Transfer Tavern are accustomed to hearing Paul Pogba rumours every day of the week, with the transfer saga seemingly never looking like it will end!

Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has said to Metro:  ‘If the right offer for Pogba arrives, we will do a deal. We are all gentlemen,’ Raiola said.

‘I’ve had more than 2,000 phone calls about him since the start of the season. I’m talking about 20 every day.’

It is no secret to anyone in world football that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is eyeing a move for the Italian sensation, but whether he will be able to muster up a sum of £70 million this summer is uncertain, especially with the current Financial Fairplay Rules that are in place.

United fans over by the bar in the Football Transfer Tavern all admit they would love to have Pogba back at Old Trafford, but all say a fee of £70 million is extortionate!
