Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are already on cloud nine after Louis van Gaal’s tactical genius for Holland and now it seems that the Daily Star are about to make things just that little bit better for them.
The publication have claimed that the Red Devils have been handed a boost in their chase for Monaco star James Rodriquez, who looks set to be on the move this summer, and was previously thought to favour a move to the less physical La Liga and Real Madrid.
Now it seems that the player’s agent has opened the door for a move to England, by claiming that Real Madrid are not the only club keen on the £45 million rated star, and there are a host of top sides who are willing to pay top dollar for his signature.
As one of our punters notes over a pint, Manchester United would be thrilled if they could land the star of the World Cup and it would certainly signify their intention to get back on top as a club.
