There is finally some good news for Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern as the Daily Mail claim that one of their brightest prospect has finally committed to the club.
As one of our punters notes, the only thing the Red Devils can take as a positive from this season so far is the emergence of Adnan Januzaj who has been simply sensational. There was even worry surrounding Januzaj’s however, with the young starlet’s future in doubt.
But now the Belgian-born stars has committed his future to the club and manager David Moyes.
The starlet has signed a deal that will keep him at Old Trafford for seasons to come. He has penned a five-year deal and netted himself a £5 million bonus to boot.
The starlet himself admitted that becoming a United legend like that of Ryan Giggs was a massive draw for him. He claimed to KTV: “I want to help Manchester United win the Premier League and become the best player in the world.”
Our landlord notes that David Moyes is well versed in bringing young stars thorough, having given both Wayne Rooney and Ross Barkley their debuts at Everton. The manager is continuing in this vein with Januzaj and described the 18-year-old as the ‘most level headed boy I have come across’.
Our United fans are playing pool with a smile on their face after hearing this latest claim and quip that despite there being a huge debate over Januzaj’s international future, at least when it comes to his club he seems to have made a decision!
Manchester United fans. How pleased are you that Januzaj has committed to the cause? Let us know your thoughts below.
