Manchester United hierarchy concerned over playing style, fear losing out on big name striker this summer

West Bromwich Albion v Manchester United - Barclays Premier LeagueThe Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are getting ready to watch their side in this Saturday’s FA Cup Final, with the hope that some silverware can offer a glimpse of optimism after a fairly average campaign.

The Red Devils faithful are not happy that their team has not secured Champions League football for next season with some supporters feeling like the team has gone backwards during 2015/16.

Our landlord has spotted an article in the Daily Mail that claims the club’s hierarchy are concerned that the club might miss out on Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, due to United’s playing style under Louis van Gaal.

The club’s board of directors will decide whether to keep the Dutch manager following Saturday’s final, with several factors set to be considered before they decide who will take responsibility for the team next season.

One United supporter is sat waiting for the Thursday night quiz to begin here in the Tavern and he thinks that the club need to send van Gaal on his way, before they miss out on anymore signings this summer.

Manchester United fans, should the manager be replaced? Who would you like to see take his job at the club?
