The Daily Star have some news that Manchester United fans are rather happy to hear here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
They claim that the club have told Paris Saint-Germain in no uncertain terms that they will not be landing one of their most coveted stars.
As one of our punters notes over his pint and burger, the French side have also tried and failed to lure Eden Hazard from Chelsea and saw a cheeky £15 million bid for Adnan Januzaj rejected this winter.
Under fire manager David Moyes spoke about the links surrounding Laurent Blanc’s men and his star attacking player, and rubbished claims of a move.
“Adnan has a massive role to play in the future of the team and he can go on to become a huge success at United.’ He claimed.
“It doesn’t matter what offers might come in for him, he will not be sold because he is not for sale.”
Moyes is of course facing up to the loss of his skipper Nemanja Vidic, with the Serbian defender making it clear he will not be signing a new deal at Old Trafford and will be leaving on a free this summer.
How impressed have you been with Januzaj so far? Would he make your full strength United starting eleven? Let us know your thoughts below.
