Manchester United legend claims he only worked with four world class players

He has learnt from the best Manchester United fans are looking up with interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as Sky Sports are reporting, that in his time at Manchester United, Alex Ferguson thinks he only worked with four world class players.

The revelation came in the latest book written by the Scottish legend, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Eric Cantona the names mentioned.

Now as our punters here in the Tavern notes, Fergie was luckier than most managers given he was able to work with a huge amount of players, all of whom were very talented, and he does mention this, making the point that people like Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney were also brilliant, but those four names were just a class above the rest.

Manchester United fans. Do you agree with this or do you think that Fergie is only naming those players because he never fell out with them and still gets on with them today? Let us know your thoughts below!
