Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are getting excited after talkSPORT revealed that the Red Devils had agreed a deal for Hoffenheim midfielder Roberto Firmino.
This rumour surrounding the 23-year-old, who is currently representing Brazil at the Copa America, is allegedly costing Louis van Gaal £13.1m.
Although Firmino is relatively new to the international stage for long, he has impressed, and he scored against Honduras in their 1-0 win.
Firmino is seen as an attacking midfielder and he can operate in numerous roles.
He has raised eyebrows in the Bundesliga after scoring 12 goals with Hoffenheim as well contributing with 10 assists.
Punters in the Tavern are shocked to hear this, considering they already have plenty of players to play in this area, but this could also hint that one or two players are on their way out.
