Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are getting increasingly excited of reported transfer activity set to take place next year, with the supporters now discussing a huge rumour from the continent.
Corriere Dello Sport state that Manchester United have made an approach to sign Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli, who is free to sign a pre-contractual agreement in January with his contract set to expire in the summer.
The 25-year-old Algerian international looks set to leave the Spanish side next year with a new contract unlikely to be signed and it appears Louis Van Gaal believes the wide-man could be the solution to his problems on the wings.
However, Feghouli is unlikely to join before the end of the season unless United pay a fee for his services, which would be a surprise move as he’s available on a free next summer, but Van Gaal’s side need to be wary of interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan.
United fans, can Feghouli solve your issues out wide? Let us know in the comments below!
