Manchester United need to splash £45m plus Nani to seal deal?

Arturo Vidal Fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are seeing more and more transfer stories heat up now the World Cup is coming down to its final stages.

One man who is on top of most European clubs’ wishlists is Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal who was recently knocked out at the hands of Brazil.

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in signing the 27-year-old and they have been set a fee by the Old Lady.

Reports suggest that Juventus are willing to take £45 million plus Portuguese winger Nani in exchange for Vidal – something the fans in Manchester will be over the moon with.

Nani joined the club in 2007 for £20 million from Sporting Lisbon but he has become a bit-part player at Old Trafford despite signing a five-year deal under David Moyes last summer.

Whilst the fans will be happy to see the back of Nani the club is unlikely to rush into any deal valued so high.

Juventus’ value of Vidal could also see Arsenal and Chelsea drop their interest in his signature.

Manchester United fans. Vidal would be a welcome addition to any squad but is £45 million plus Nani too much? Let us know your thoughts below.
