Despite being told, rather bluntly, that there’s no chance Thomas Muller will leave Bayern Munich this summer, Spanish outlet Fichajes still claim the Red Devils hold aspirations of signing the World Cup hero next summer.
With Wayne Rooney misfiring, it’s no surprise that United are in the market for a forward but Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rumminegge made things quite clear at the weekend where United can stuff their transfer offers.
“I told my colleagues at Manchester United: ‘I cannot close down my email account, but you no longer need to send me anything. It is useless.'”
Determination is turning into desperation, it seems, and our punters reckon they’ve got more chance of landing the Liverpool job than United have of signing Muller.
