Manchester United fans are looking slightly confused here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
This is after it was claimed by Metro that one of their outcasts would not be going out on loan this winter – at least not to his former club.
Wilfried Zaha has been on the sidelines since making the summer move up north from Crystal Palace and now it seems that he will certainly not be making a loan return to London.
The player is thought to be keen to remain up north where he is now happy and settled and it seems that this could well be rather bad news for his relegation threatened former club.
Eagles manager Tony Pulis spoke about the potential of bringing the player on loan for the remainder of the season.
“We’ve spoken to David Moyes about Zaha and I don’t think he is too keen on him coming back to London.
“It’s not a problem for us, he’s a Manchester United player. We don’t think it is a goer, although we were very keen if there was a possibility to take him on.”
Zaha does however seem certain to leave the Red Devils, at least on loan, with Cardiff City also keen on taking him, as are high flying Newcastle United.
It seems imperative for Zaha that he is able to get some first team action and allow his development to actually continue.
Just where will Wilfried Zaha end up this January transfer window? Let us know your thoughts below.
