MirrorFootball indicate that Manchester United will make one final offer for Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas
The Premier League champions have already seen two earlier offers thought to be £26m and £30m knocked back for the former Arsenal midfielder and the Nou Camp club insist that Fabregas in not for sake this summer.
However United’s new manager David Moyes is undeterred with the 26-year-old remaining his prime transfer priority and is readying a club record bid of over £35m which is likely to be submitted by the end of this week.
Despite new Barca coach Gerardo Martino insisting that any third bid for Fabregas would be rejected, United still hold strong belief they can land the ex-Gunners skipper.
Barcelona indicate that they have fiendishly complicated clauses from that the transfer that took Fabregas back to Spain in 2011 and instead they considering the option of letting the player, who is reportedly keen on signing for United, buy out his current contract.
This would see Fabregas give up the option on Arsenal and end any hopes Gunners supporters have of a future emotional return to the Emirates Stadium.
Sources from Spain have given a clear indication that Fabregas would like to return to the Premier League but the Arsenal clause is making it increasingly difficult. In essence it gives the Gunners an option to buy the Spain international cheaper than the fee they received for him, something Barca are willing to see happen.
