Manchester United plotting move for gifted midfielder, current club not prepared to sell

Reece OxfordThe Manchester United fans are here in the Transfer Tavern discussing what the future will hold for their club under the stewardship of new boss Jose Mourinho.

Several new players are expected to arrive at Old Trafford with several high profile stars linked with moves to the club this summer and our landlord has spotted an article in today’s Daily Mail, which will excite the Red Devils faithful.

The report states that West Ham United starlet Reece Oxford has been identified as a target for Manchester United this summer and the Red Devils are preparing a bid.

The difficult part for United will be trying to tempt the Hammers into a sale and the report also suggests that the Londoners will not be prepared to sell – even if a bid of £10 million is made for the 17-year-old.

One Manchester United fan is sat with his burger and pint meal deal here in the Tavern and he says that he would like to see Oxford at Old Trafford, even if he would cost the club around £15 million.

Manchester United fans, would you welcome Oxford at the club? Would he go straight into the United team?
