Now they have been informed that David Moyes looks set to have a busy winter in the transfer window with a stunning possible transfer being currently worked upon.
The news from the Daily Star who suggest that Moyes is plotting a big money move for out of favour Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria when the January transfer window opens.
The 25-year-old Argentine international has made 16 appearances for the Bernabeu club this term but he is reportedly worried about his future following the acquisition of Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale in the summer.
With our punters watching with close attention, Bale has started to come to life in the La Liga, forming something of a deadly partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the last few matches.
This could see games hard to come by for Di Maria with interest forming from England.
Arsenal were strongly linked with a move for Di Maria in the summer, but he apparently decided to remain in Spain. However with the World Cup in Brazil looming, he will certainly be eyeing regular football and could make the decision to leave Madrid for the Premier League.
Today’s reports indicate that Moyes will have nearly £100 million at his disposal, with Di Maria thought to be valued at around £25 million.
This has been greeted with relieved looks from United supporters in the tavern who are desperate to see their side strengthen significantly during the winter.
