The Metro seem all about Manchester United today in the Football Transfer Tavern and after reading the latest claim from the paper who seem to think that Nani could well be offered to Ligue 1 side Monaco this summer, that only looks set to continue.
The winger has been at Old Trafford for some time now and as one of our punters quips, he does seem like part of the furniture. Despite all of this the player has never really lived up to the expectations and reputation we placed on his after the departure of compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo who will go down as not only one of the great Manchester United players, but one of the best players ever.
Now it seems that new manager David Moyes is keen to offload the player and along with the likes of Anderson, free up some squad space and wages for the likes of new arrival Wilfred Zaha who of course will represent a major threat to the claim Nani has on a starting berth.
Mega wealthy French side Monaco are thought to have been offered the player and given they have already bought the likes of Ramadel Falcao, Joao Moutinho and also former Manchester United target James Rodriguez, they are not slowing down and are reportedly keen on getting the Portuguese International.
