The Daily Star are again linking the Red Devils with a move for Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal after the club had been chasing him all summer.
Juve are set to settle for nothing less than a staggering £35 million for their key midfielder, leaving United fans stuck in the tavern wondering, is he worth all this trouble?
Well, it’s known that Vidal has a reoccurring knee problem which required surgery prior to the World Cup, meaning that a fee around £35 million could be deemed a huge risk should United formalise their interest.
To tackle this issue, Louis van Gaal is supposedly going to monitor the midfielders’ progress before making a final decision heading into January.
Punters in the tavern may be able to doubt the 27-year-old’s fitness, but there is no questioning his ability.
He is a key player for the Bianconeri and and control the game whilst in a flash he can propel an attack, splitting open the opposition’s defence.
And with Manchester United enduring a poor start to the season, Juventus will be aware that they will be desperate to sign a so-called ‘quick fix’ meaning they could make the Premier League side pay over the odds for their man.
Manchester United fans. Do you think it is worth spending £35 million on Arturo Vidal who is 27-years-old and injury prone? Let us know your thoughts below.
