Manchester United boss David Moyes could well be set to make some sensational moves yet this summer according to Metro which of course has got us up on our feet with anticipation here at the Football Transfer Tavern.
The Red Devils manager has begun his time in charge at Old Trafford facing a wave of questions over the future of Wayne Rooney and whilst the club will not let the player leave, they are reluctant to offer a new contract, meaning that the speculation is still rife over the forward’s future and the odds of him leaving are fairly short in the sports betting online markets.
That aside, there is still plenty going on at Old Trafford, with Moyes noting that he has a great deal of money to spend this summer – and no one is off the cards, not even Real Madrid superstar and former player Cristiano Ronaldo, or highly sought after Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale.
The former Everton manager noted that; “Isn’t it great that the club says, there’s no budget here, you go get who you want to get, just go and do it.
“We are looking at the best players. I do think it’s important that we show people we are carrying on the traditions and trying to take the club forward.”
United have of course just lost their first match under Moyes and the manager will be scrutinising his stars closer than ever now.
