He shares a connection with Sergio Ramos, Jesus Navas and Carlos MarchenaManchester United fans are desperate to hear what Metro has to say here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that the Red Devils have seen their initial bid of £32 million for Sergio Ramos turned down.

According to the publication, Real Madrid are currently not playing ball over the player, but as one of our punters notes, with a deal for David De Gea still not complete, United do hold some pretty powerful cards, and this, coupled with the fact that Louis van Gaal is determined to get Ramos and has instructed his board to increase their offer for the Spaniard, means we think the World Cup winner could be moving to Manchester soon.
