Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are drawing up all the options available as they have to decide what to do with their transfer flop after the Daily Mirror revealed they could choose to extend Radamel Falcao’s loan to next January.
Falcao, who has only scored four goals in 27 appearances, and he has not done enough to secure a permanent move to Old Trafford, but punters here in the Transfer Tavern believe he was not given a fair crack of the whip.
And maybe a loan extension is the right thing for the Columbian international because for the first half of the season, he was injured and had to spend time getting back to his full fitness.
A loan move could also work out for United because they could spend the huge transfer elsewhere and still have Falcao at their disposal until January.
United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is currently negotiating with Monaco to work round a way of keeping Falcao at Old Trafford.
