Manchester United set to finally offload player but there is one condition

Manchester United v Southampton - Barclays Premier LeagueManchester United fans enjoying a game of darts on the new dartboard that has been installed here in the Transfer Tavern, are looking at the latest report from the Daily Record – with the publication suggesting that the Red Devils are ready to offload Victor Valdes, but there is one condition.

The particular condition is that the Spaniard is not allowed to join another Premier League rival, and our Manchester United fans here in the Tavern think this is a really good idea.

Our landlord feels that Valdes is a player that deserves to be playing first-team football week in week out, as he clearly still possesses an abundance of talent and experience.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper has only accumulated two appearances for the Old Trafford outfit since joining in January 2015, and our Red Devils regulars feel he deserved more of a chance at the Manchester club!

Mike, a hardcore Manchester United fan, is discussing his thoughts on this news to our landlord over on table 24 in the Transfer Tavern – here’s what he had to say: ‘Look, Valdes is never going to get a look in now we know De Gea is staying at the club, but you can’t help but feel sorry for the Spaniard!’

Manchester United fans…… What do you make of this news? Has Valdes been treated unfairly? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
