Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are concerned they are going to lose one their hottest prospects after the Daily Express revealed that Leicester are looking to swoop in for United youngster Tom Thorpe.
The 22-year-old has played at every level for England and it seems as though he is ready to make the final step up at club level, with his contract expiring in the summer.
Thorpe is now on the hunt for another club as it seems as though Louis van Gaal is not interested in blooding him into the first team.
The King Power Stadium could be a likely destination for Thorpe with plenty of other former United youngsters moving there.
With Ritchie De Laet, Danny Drinkwater, Matty James, Tom Lawrence and Danny Simpson all involved in the first team under Nigel Pearson.
It could be a decision van Gaal regrets because Thorpe has been excellent for the reserves this season and he has only been rewarded with one substitute appearance in the 89th minute against West Ham, back in September.
