Manchester United set to offer club legend role as Under-21 manager, would extend his stay beyond 30-years

GiggsFormer Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is set to be offered the role of Under-21s manager in the coming weeks with the club keen to keep him around the club.

According to The Sun, the man who worked as an assistant manager to recently sacked boss Louis van Gaal is to be offered the new role, with the Red Devils keen to keep Giggs as part of the coaching setup.

Warren Joyce is currently the manager of the Under-21s although he could be set to take up the managerial vacancy at Sky Bet Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers, with Giggs lined up should that be the case.

One Manchester United die-hard is having a bite to eat with his other half here in the Transfer Tavern and he thinks that Giggs should be kept around the place, stating that he could well be the first-team manager one day and this could be the perfect chance for him to cut his managerial teeth.

Manchester United fans, would you welcome Giggs staying at the club? Is the Under-21 job the ideal role for him?
