Manchester United set to secure deal for midfield dynamo after agreeing terms?

BigliaBrilliant news for fans of the Red Devils here in the Transfer Tavern, as it appears Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has had a bid accepted for an Argentina International.

Metro is reporting that a deal to bring midfield enforcer Lucas Biglia from Serie A side Lazio to the Premier league is as good as done.

The Manchester United Boss has been spending big this summer and after a less than convincing win over Tottenham this weekend, looks set to bring in further reinforcements.

Biglia, is predominantly a defensive midfield player and has been capped 34 times by the Argentina National side, regularly playing alongside Messi and co.

The 29-year old was quoted as saying his future did not depend on himself alone as recently as yesterday, and now after these developments it appears that despite being the current Lazio captain, he is headed to Old Trafford.

Our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern feels that Biglia would be an astute purchase for Manchester United, and would undoubtedly add another element of steel to the United midfield.
